La Maison Arabe

1, Derb Assehbé- Bab Doukkala
Marrakech, Morocco

La Maison ArabeLa Maison Arabe is part of Marrakesh history and was the first boutique hotel to open in the medina. It offers a sumptuous level of accommodation with some of the best service in town. La Maison Arabe predates most of Marrakech’s current crop of riad hotels, the compound-like guest houses hidden within the maze-like walls of the Medina. Rather more like a traditional hotel than some of its more casual, more recent competitors, La Maison Arabe is a slight stylistic departure as well, thanks in no small part to its owner, the Italian-born and Tangiers-bred Fabrizio Ruspoli, whose mixed cultural pedigree is a perfect shorthand for the blended influences of his hotel.

La Maison ArabeGuest rooms are all different, none bearing numbers, but rather named for references to 1001 Nights. Expect all of the modern things-air conditioning, television, minibar, and even the occasional fireplace or terrace. The look is aggressively luxe, masculine, in dark colors and the richest of materials.
