Are the cobras in the el fina in marrakech poisonous
There are rumours that the cobras & other snakes have removed(broken) the fangs and poison glands by what they are not poisonous however the snake charmers strongly deny as “false rumours”….”If that is true why are there casualties among us?”

Most of the snakes come from Morocco’s southern Guelmim region, according to Aymerich, trapped by members of the Aissaoua Brotherhood religious order who supply many protected animals to Marrakesh’s market.

How to make Marrakech spice blend
Simple Moroccan Spice blend
2 tsp each of ground cumin, coriander, paprika, ginger and cinnamon.
1 tsp each of white pepper and turmeric
14 tsp each of chilli powder and ground nutmeg
Combine all spices and store in a sealed jar.
